OmSoft provides DSL services to residents and businesses. They are known as the go-to DSL provider in Davis, CA. As of July 2011, are able to service Chico residents. OmSoft offers several tiers of service similar to most other providers, such as 1.5 Mbps/384 Kbps and 6.0 Mbps/512 Kbps. Static IPs ($5) are available for advanced users without paying for a business account. If you have a working DSL modem, you can avoid renting one but they will provide a modem if needed. They have month to month and 1-year plans. Email, Usenet access is provided (not sure if Usenet is provided in the Chico market).

While OmSoft does not have an office in Chico, all services can be completed by e-mail, phone, and post.

2011-07-09 10:25:01   OmSoft is great for advanced users. Rob is the best for tech support, as he has never talked down to me and has an incredible can-do attitude. I was very impressed recently where he went completely out of his way to transfer my DSL to Chico from Davis! My loyalty to them proves just how terrific their service is. —RyanMikulovsky
