The Point is a 28,000 Watt commercial radio station serving the North Valley of California. Its city of license is Colusa, CA but its studios and main service area are in Chico. In addition to the 28,000 Watt signal, The Point has a 246 Watt repeater serving the Chico area at K300AD 107.9 FM. The station is part of a cluster called Radio Chico owned by Mapleton. The other stations in the Radio Chico cluster are 93.9 KFM (KFMF), 95.7 KALF, and 96.7 KPIG and (KZAP). 107-5 The Point is a CHR/Hot AC format. Music played is contemporary and hit-oriented. On Saturdays, regular programing is replaced with pop and new wave music from the 1980s.
