As cycling becomes more popular in Conway, a certain number of them are going to be constantly breaking down.       The Ride         

The Ride is located on the corner of Donaghey and Meadowlake. 

The shop sells new bikes both mountain and road, repair services, components and accessories. Mobile Services available. They do not sell used bikes at this time.  It's not just a great place to buy stuff, it's also an excellent place to connect to rides and riders in Conway. 

The fine folks of the Ride regularly organize group rides and also participate in larger community events such as Urban Farm Festival  and the Fall Classic.  You can find information like this on their wikipage or website.

Finding a Used Bicycle

  • Yard sales typically have one or two bikes that people are looking to offload.
  • Keep your eyes open on moving day. You will be amazed at how many decent bikes get abandoned all over the city.
  • Check Craigslist.
  • There is an older gentleman on Tyler St. across the street from the pool and adjacent the Tucker Creek Trail who has a carport often housing used bicycles for sale.  Selection varies greatly.
  • The Faulkner County Solid Waste Management District (allegedly; rumored; this editor uncertain) has bicycles that have been 'junked' available for those wanting to rebuild..  (please confirm and post info!)
  • People sometimes give out used bikes on Faulkner County FreeCycle .
  • On HWY-65N on your way out of Conway there is a "Bike Barn" at the top of the hill.  This editor cannot report on the inventory.
