Oeste Drive runs parallel to Anderson Road, North to South. The street is named for Jacob William Oeste. The Oeste family were longtime farmers and landowners in the West Plainfield area, to the west and northwest of Davis. While some pronounce the street name the Spanish way, the family pronounced it "O-stee".
The Oeste Manor Neighborhood Association hosted the first Good Neighbor Policy event in September 2005.
The unofficial Tau Kappa Epsilon house is located on the corner of Oeste and Russell Boulevard.
