Ristorante Mangiamo served authentic Northern Italian cuisine in the current location of the Mustard Seed at Park Place on D Street.. Owner Cathy Hunt had the only vintage copper and brass espresso machine in Davis. The restaurant was notable for being the only place in Yolo county to get traditional Northern Italian food. The restaurant was previously called Park Place
2020-10-26 19:29:45 Cool memories of this little restaurant that my parents owned (Terry and Cathy Hunt). Learned how to fold cloth napkins for the dinner guests every weekend. And my dad did make me the most delicious milkshakes there too ...fun times...did sneak out behind the building to go to The Naturalist store to play in their store and checked out all the shiny polished rocks. Never did have any money to buy them so just did a lot of staring :) —lisahunt
