Shifa Community Clinic is a UC Davis School of Medicine affiliate located in Sacramento. It is a non-profit, student-run organization that serves the uninsured citizens of the Greater Sacramento area. They have been partners with UC Davis since 2005 and hold an annual fundraiser on the university's campus. The event is essentially a cultural showcase featuring dance, song, poetry, food, a fashion show, and other engaging activities. Proceeds directly benefit the clinic's patients.
