SunFire Equestrian Training

SunFire Equestrian Training specializes in 3-Day Eventing. Lessons are available for juniors and adults of all riding levels. Other services provided include leasing, training, purchasing and selling, show coaching, cross country schooling, and off the track Thoroughbred rescue, rehab, and rehoming. SunFire Equestrian Training maintains an active show/schooling calendar, attending many local schooling shows as well as rated 3-Day Events throughout the west coast each season. SunFire Equestrian Training also hosts Yves Sauvignon, Don Sachey, and Tina Steward clinics several times a year.

SunFire Equestrian Training is based out of SunFire Eventing Center, a 40 acre facility with a 225' x 80' indoor lighted arena for riding in all weather conditions and nighttime riding. The facility also features a large outdoor jump arena, an oversized round pen, nine irrigated 1-5 acre pastures, a large boarder tack room, grain room, and 24 hour on-site personalized care.

2012-03-19 11:07:39   I found Alana after a few years off from riding and wanting to take up a new discipline. She is amazing! I have learned a great deal in a short time and always look forward to my lessons with her. They are always challenging and fun and I always feel like a better rider afterwards. The horses at SunFire are just as great and Alana is the perfect horse/rider match maker! 2014-08-27 18:38:46   I am a vet student and moved to Davis with my horse 2 years ago. When I asked other vet students for recommendations of barns in the area the overwhelming response was Sunfire. I've had zero complaints in the 2 years I've kept my mare there. The barn manager Lisa is amazing and goes the extra mile with her attention to detail and horse knowledge. Alana and Tati are excellent instructors and nurture an amazing group of riders in everything from jumping lessons, to dressage, to eventing shows. It is a wonderful community to be a part of whether you own a horse or not. I've grown so much as a rider by riding my own horse and the lesson horses, and with Alana's instruction. I'm not sure if I could find another barn this great for anywhere near the price anywhere else. —SarahSchale
