The Tree of Peace was planted to the west of Mrak Hall on May 12th, 1984. It is a valley oak that was planted in recognition of Native American Cultural Days by Chief Jake Swamp, an Iroquois Elder.
May the dream of the Peacemaker—a world without war—one day come true.
