1217 Travis N.E. One of the first houses constructed in the Auburn Hills subdivision, this home was built by Samuel S. and Shirley Triplett - a member of the Auburn Hills Development Corporation- in 1965. The neighborhood was developed to give African American residents a place to buy new homes.
