Candlelight Wedding For Kelley-Gladd

Joan Elizabeth Kelley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kelley, of Port Henry, and Eugene Russell Gladd, of 293 Broadway, were married at a candlelight wedding in the rectory of St. Bernard's Church at 7 o'clock last night. Father Peter Ward officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

It was the 30th wedding anniversary of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Gladd. The groom's uncle, Lee Gladd, was best man, and his sister, Mrs. Milton J. Miller, was matron of honor…

Following the ceremony a reception for the family was held at the Swiss Chalet.

Upon their return to Saranac Lake, the bride and groom will make their home at 10 Pontiac st. Mrs. Gladd is employed by the New York Telephone Company. Mr. Gladd is employed at Little Joe's Cocktail Lounge.
