Alice Cochran (neé) Donah was a French Canadian tuberculosis patient who came to Saranac Lake to cure sometime before the mid-1930s. She was a daughter of Henry and Mary Cassavant Daunais.

She married Herbert Cochran, and they had two children. She died of tuberculosis in 1943.

She is buried in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Herbert Cochran died at her home on Sunday. She had been ill a long time. She is survived by her husband and three small children.
