Eileen Wheelock Stewart McCasland was a licensed practical nurse. She was a daughter of Fayette and Lillian (Scoville) Wheelock. She was a resident of Saranac Lake for more than eighty years, working at both Saranac Lake and Lake Placid hospitals; among her patients was Kate Smith's mother. She is buried in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
