Harold M. Eby was born in Oborsonia, Pennsylvania, the son of Eldred and Gertrude (Cruthers) Eby. He worked as a photographer in Saranac Lake for twenty-seven years, available for weddings, family reunions, christenings, and other auspicious occasions. He was also engaged to photograph senior class portraits and local high school student activities for the yearbook, as was Bernard M. Acosta.
