Joseph H. Branch owned a farm on Kiwassa Road. He served as road supervisor for the Town of Harrietstown for 25 years. He was a foster son of Amos Dupree, born 1813, in Canada.
He is buried in Pine Ridge Cemetery.

JOSEPH BRANCH DIES AT AGE 83
Joseph H. Branch, 83, died this morning at the home of his son, Spencer Branch, 44 Helen St., where he had resided for the last two years.
Funeral services are tentatively set for Monday. The body will repose at the Currier Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Branch was born on April 15, 1869 in Black Brook, the son of Ruth and Caroline Branch [sic]. His wife, the former Sarah J. Nichols, died in this village in 1939.
Mr. Branch, prior to 1926, had served some 25 years as road supervisor for the Town of Harrietstown. He had spent most of his life in this area and one time owned and operated a farm on Kiwassa rd.
He is survived by five sons, Spencer and Harland, of Saranac Lake, Hubert, of Belleflower, Calif., Horace, of Black River, and Park, of Tupper Lake, also a daughter, Mrs. Mary Fletcher, of North Hollywood, Calif. There are several grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
