Neyle Habersham Coleman was a son of Robert H. Coleman and Edith Coleman of 33 Church Street.

Neyle Coleman was a Private in Co. G, 162nd Infantry, 41st Division. His army serial number was 79,255. On April 9, 1917, he went to Vancouver, Washington; thence to Clackamas, Oregon; Camp Fremont, California; Camp Green, N.C.; and Camp Mills, Long Island. He sailed for France on December 11, 1917, on "Tuscania," embarking at New York. On May 1, 1919, he returned to the USA on "Louisville," landing at New York. He was discharged on May 17, 1919. 1

His name is listed on the World War I Veterans’ Memorial Park at Church and River Streets.
