Rose Kennedy with President Kennedy, December 6, 1962 Born: July 22, 1890

Died: January 22, 1995, age 104

Married: Joseph Patrick Kennedy, Sr., on October 7, 1914

Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy is best known as the mother of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. She is said to have visited her sister who was curing at the Smithwick Cottage in Saranac Lake.

Her sister Eunice Fitzgerald (born January 26, 1900; died of tuberculosis 1 September 25, 1923) may well have been the young woman by the same name who was examined by Dr. Lawrason Brown on October 21, 1920; she was from Dorchester, Mass., and staying at 41 Baker Street. Rose Kennedy also had a brother Thomas Acton Fitzgerald (born April 19, 1895) of the same two addresses, who was also examined by Dr. Brown on the same day. His outcome was better, however, as he lived to the age of 73.

Later, Margaret Wooters remembered seeing Rose Kennedy at the Saranac Inn, always being seated at the same table, always alone.
