Vincent E. Pelletieri was a partner at the Belvedere Restaurant from 1947 to 1964 and owned Mark's Bar and Grill from 1964 to 1984 He recalled hosting the Ottawa Irish Rugby team at Mark's Bar every summer; the team adopted Mark's as their home away from home and had many lakeside parties at Kiwassa Lake.

He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Navy from 1942 to 1945, and a Korean War veteran, serving from 1951 to 1952. He was a member of the Saranac Lake Elks Club BPOE 1508, the Saranac Lake Moose Club, Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a member of the East Branch Hunting Club.

He married Elizabeth Rita Sullivan on Sept. 18, 1954 at St. Bernard's Church.  He lived at 78 Will Rogers Drive.

He is buried in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
