Apollo Chinese Restaurant is a cheap take out Chinese place right next to campus that stays open late. Many of the entrees are located in heating bins. A two item meal with steamed rice, soup, and tea costs $5.75 including tax. The soup is usually egg drop, or occasionally hot and sour. If you order from their website, you get 5% off your meal.

2008-08-19 20:04:40 this place is ok for the price (considering that even take out orders come with free soup) but the flavor is decent at best. The hot and sour soup is too cornstarchy, the general tsoa's chicken was decent, and the garlic eggplant wasn't garlicky enough. Sadly enough, out of the Chinese places I've tried in Ithaca, this one is the best. —MattHh
