On On Friday, March 1st, 2013 First Friday was a little different in response to the shooting that occurred during the February event. Peace in Oakland Solutions Salon held an event at the New Parkway Theater to discuss recommendations on creating safe, vibrant, and meaningful environments for youth/teens within the Art/Murmur First Friday festival.
