Since we don't yet live in our technoverlords' driverless vehicle nightmare dream future, there are humans who drive the AC Transit busses in Oakland. These people are bus drivers, aka, "the people who have to deal with all the crazy shit that happens on AC transit busses and are still somehow often helpful and kind to you."
If you are carless, you will probably get to know the bus drivers on your local line and on any other lines you frequent.
Be nice to the people who drive busses. They take a lot of shit and get you to where you need to go. If you want, you can say the previous sentence in the voice of this video and enjoy the sentence more than just saying it in your normal voice (maybe unless you really like your normal voice, which is totally chill).
