Courtland Creek Park is a small park connecting sections of Courtland Avenue. It is located where Courtland stops at Fairfax and before it resumes near Brookdale. It became a city park in 1997. 1 The area was where the Leona streetcar line ran.
The park is home to one of the few above-ground sections of Courtland Creek. It has a mini basketball court, but no other facilities. The Courtland Creek Mural is near the northeast end of the park. There are also a number of mosaics, including a snaky "Welcome to Courtland Creek Park Oakland" sign.
