East Bay Express is a weekly newspaper published each Wednesday since 1978.
It is currently the only Independent large circulation newsweekly in the Bay Area.
In 2009 they published an article which resulted in several lawsuits being filed by area business owners against the company being profiled in the story.
In 2003, The Express put Actor Gary Coleman on the Recall Ballot for Governor. He lost.
