So was Evening School what we would now call Adult School/Adult Education, or was it school for children who had to work during the day?
In 1887 the teachers of the Evening School were J. P. H. Dunn, George Edwards, and Annie W. Brewer. P. A. Garin was the Principal of Drawing, Miss Eliza P. Brown the Principal of Music, J. H. Bell the Department Mechanic, and James Carlon the Assistant Department Mechanic.
