On Monday, August 12, 2013, at Metropolitan Golf Links, Vice Mayor Larry Reid and Oakland Parks and Recreation staff hosted a golf tournament fundraiser benefiting five Oakland Junior Golf Programs: Ace Kids Golf, The First Tee of Oakland, Lake Chabot Junior Golf Academy, Metropolitan Junior Golf Program and Oakland Turfgrass Initiative.
Join in the celebration of Leonard “Googie” Kirtley’s 90th birthday by playing golf, tasting fine food and enjoying friends.
