Agostino “Gus” Vazzana (April 19, 1896 – July 14, 1987) was machinist and a resident of West Oakland from the 1920s to the 1950s.

Vazzana was born April 19, 1896 in Italy to Agostino Vazzano and Antonia Baltima Vazzano, one of the youngest of 7 children. [NB: most records appear with an 'a', but the family name was with an 'o'] He immigrated to the U.S. in 1921, joining his older sister Rosaria “Rose” Vazzano (Giuffre), who had come from Italy ten years earlier. He initially lived with her family at 3121 Adeline.

Gus was married to Juana “Juanita” Cota (Vazzana) (December 26, 1906 – March 5, 2004) on October 20, 1928, at St. Joseph's Portuguese Church by the priest, Rev. Joseph Galli. Juanita had been born in Mexico. They didn't have any children.

By 1935, Gus and Juanita were living at 855 Brockhurst. Gus worked as a machinist for Continental Machine Works, a small shop on 3rd Street just west of Broadway.

They lived on Brockhurst until 1955, then are listed in the 1956 directory on Broadmoor in San Leandro.
