Hunters' Inn was a roadhouse "on the scenic boulevard" (Foothill Boulevard) c.1908-1910. It had its license revoked, and closed down in 1910 because the owners said they couldn't run it profitably without staying open past midnight. 1
In 1911, the Oakland Motor Club refurbished it and used it as their headquarters. 2
