The Khadafy Washington Foundation for Nonviolence was founded by Marilyn Washington Harris as a tribute to her son, Khadafy Washington, who was killed in West Oakland on August 4, 2000. Presently, the Foundation works to advocate for the rights of survivors of violence, as well as for their families. Additionally, they hope to aid in further preventing the murders of young people in our communities.
