July 24th, 2013 Meeting
On July 24th, 2013, the PEC held a special meeting. The meeting was advertised as being on KTOP but was not. It was sparsely livetweeted with the hashtag #pecmtg.
A storify of the meeting is available here.
Press release the PEC released after the meeting.
(Lack of) Authority
Even members of the Oakland government thinks the PEC needs more authority. Dan Kalb is working to improve the commission.
