Captain Ricardo Orozco was a Captain with the Oakland Police Department. He oversaw District 3 in the new arrangement of 5 police districts implemented in spring of 2013.
In November, 2013, he was interviewed by KALW. In February, 2014, he was interviewed by the World Journal.
Ricardo Orozco retired from the OPD and took a position with the Alameda District Attorney's office. On July 6, 2016, Orozco's employment was terminated.
