The Monster Project is a national art project that turns childrens' drawings of monsters into public artworks. There are two monster project murals in California, both in West Oakland, painted by Kylin O'Brien. The Monster Project's homepage is at http://themonsterproject.net.
The other piece is on Genoa at 59th/Adeline and looks like this. That monster is called Durgo and is by Lucian Parisi, age 7.
