"Growing Room opens the door to a secure, quality, fun and nurturing educational environment based on a balanced partnership with parents. Our children excel with enhanced enthusiasm, literacy, and creativity that lead them to be successful, considerate achievers throughout their lives."

Growing Room Tallahassee opened its first child development center January 4, 2010 at 2636 Centennial Place near Capital Center NE and Fleishmann Road and our second center opened August 17, 2010 at 6266 Old Water Oak Road off Thomasville Road north of Chili’s. Our newest location, 1271 Metropolitan Boulevard, in the Metropolitan Center at I-10 and Thomasville Road opened in May 2012.

Owners Johnny and Catherine Lee were born and raised here in Tallahassee and have been life long residents. They live with their three daughters, ages 6, 12 and 16, and truly love calling Tallahassee home. As parents highly involved in their children’s growth and development, Catherine and Johnny became very interested in opportunities and venues which would offer them a quality experience. This led to their interest in owning a preschool. Having now realized this dream, they are more than just owners. Each is intimately involved in the daily operation and long term growth of the programs. They are easily accessible and can be found at one of the locations each and every day welcoming the parents and children that are now a part of the Growing Room Family. Please come by and meet them today!

Growing Room Tallahassee was also awarded the best Preschool and best Early Childhood Development Center in the 2012 Tally Awards. These awards were an honor to Growing Room and the efforts they put forth to continue to provide a warm and nurturing environment for families, raising the bar in early childhood development.
