Christiansen Park (a.k.a. Camarena Park) is a park located on the southwest corner of Beamer Street and Walnut Street in north-central Woodland, slightly east of Clark Field. It features three little league baseball fields, a soccer field, a horseshoe pit, a playground, barbecues, picnic tables, and restrooms. Christiansen Park can be reserved for private use.

The Valley Oak (Quercus lobata) trees at Christiansen Park are native to Woodland. The invasive weed species Flowering Pear/Callery Pear (Pyrus calleryana) is also planted at the park. Other non-native trees at Christiansen Park include Deodar Cedar (Cedrus deodara), Chinese Hackberry (Celtis sinensis), Fruitless Mulberry (Morus alba), London Plane (Platanus × hispanica), Holly Oak (Quercus ilex), Chinese Elm (Ulmus parvifolia), and Saw-leaf Zelkova (Zelkova serrata).

Little League Fields

The westernmost of the three little league fields is Buchignani Field, and the centermost field is called Camarena Field. Camarena Field and Buchignani Field are available for use by permit only. The easternmost field is a T-ball field. It does not seem to have a name and is available for general use.

It is unclear who Camarena Field is named after, but it is a lighted field with bullpens, dugouts, covered bleachers with handicap seating, and a snack bar.

Buchignani Field was previously the name of a little league baseball field located at the Yolo County Fairgrounds. That field was dedicated in 1983 to Bob Buchignani (1927-2016), a lifelong Woodland resident and a Little League umpire for over 50 years. However, its lease expired in 2020, and the fairgrounds repurposed the land for other uses. The current Buchignani Field was previously called Dustin Pedroia Field, after former Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia, who came from Woodland. Pedroia's family helped raise money for the field, but in 2009, Pedroia angrily called Woodland a "dump" after his brother was arrested on child molestation charges by the Woodland Police Department, and the city government seems to have held this against him when deciding to rename the field in 2020.
