Depot Street runs west-east between East Street and Johnston Street, situated just south of East Main Street and just north of Alice Street.

Depot Street has been planted with street trees by the city. The street trees include the invasive weed species Flowering Pear/Callery Pear (Pyrus calleryana). However, Incense Cedar (Calocedrus decurrens) and Modesto Ash/Arizona Ash (Fraxinus velutina) are also planted as street trees on Depot Street and are both native to California, although neither is native to Woodland. Other non-native street trees on Depot Street include Italian Alder (Alnus cordata), Chitalpa Trees (Chitalpa tashkentensis), White Ash (Fraxinus americana), Southern Magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora), Chinese Pistache (Pistacia chinensis), London Plane (Platanus × hispanica), and Japanese Flowering Cherry (Prunus serrulata).
