The Farmers Central Ditch is an irrigation ditch that passes through Woodland to bring water to the farm fields on the west and south sides of town. It begins at the Moore Canal northwest of the intersection of Highway 16 and County Road 96. It enters Woodland by crossing County Road 98 between Ridgeview Drive and Purdue Drive and then crosses Ashley Avenue between Aster Way and Ivie Place. From there, it crosses West Gibson Road on the west side of Gary Way, then crosses Cottonwood Street to form the northeastern border of Woodside Park. After that, it continues to the south edge of town between Woodside Drive and Amherst Way. The South Fork Ditch diverges from it at the point where it meets the south edge of town. The Farmer's Central Ditch continues along the south border of town (with the Farmers Central Ditch Path alongside it) until East Street. It then turns south and dives underground, passing under Woodland Sports Park and Woodland Off-Leash Dog Park before ending at the south end of East Street, slightly south of town.

The portion of the Farmers Central Ditch located inside of Woodland (prior to the split from the South Fork Ditch) is also known as the Maple Canal.

Farmers Central Road runs at the same latitude as the Farmers Central Ditch Path but is located on the opposite side of Highway 113 from the Farmers Central Ditch.
