This is one of the five Ruby Tuesday restaurants in California.. The food's style is similar to TGI Friday's, but of higher quality and wider variety. Also, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the walls of the restaurant are decorated with UC Davis memorabilia (other Ruby Tuesdays also decorate with local university items).
Some of the more unique menu items include:
- Baked Chicken Parmesan Pasta: "Pasta tossed with Alfredo sauce, fried chicken breast strips and marinara sauce, then smothered with Parmesan-Romano and Swiss cheeses and baked."
- Church Street Stacker: "Grilled chicken with sautéed mushrooms, applewood smoked bacon and Swiss cheese," all stacked on a pile of mashed potatoes.
- Smoky Mountain Chicken Stacker: "Grilled barbecue chicken with cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon and diced tomatoes," again on mashed potatoes.
- Other stackers.
- Various seafood items and quasi-Italian food.

2006-06-23 13:53:55 Ate here for lunch one day. It is kind of like Denny's in a way, but with much better food and service. It wasn't cheap either. Actually, I'd equate it more to AppleBees, but better. —AlexPomeranz
2007-07-01 21:52:33 The commercials for this place make the burgers look tempting and worth trying. However, I found the food to be mediocre. I would not eat here again. —at86

2007-11-09 11:10:02 Went here again yesterday, had the two-mini burgers w/fries and access to the salad bar. The salad bar was fresh and had a lot of variety, the burgers were perfectly cooked, and the fries were good. So overall, the quality was excellent. My main complaint here really comes down is price. The two mini-burgers, fries, and the salad bar ended up being $12 for lunch after tax/tip, and that's drinking water. That's just too expensive for what you get, especially for lunch. —AlexPomeranz
