The Fourth Ward is one of the five wards into which the City is divided for purposes of City Council elections. The Fourth Ward consists of the southwest area of the city. It is within the area bordered by Pauline, South Maple, I-94, State Street, Elsworth, Stone School Road and Packard Road. The exact boundaries were modified to reflect population changes in the 2010 Census.
In 2016, the Fourth Ward is represented on City Council by Jack Eaton and Graydon Krapohl. Mr. Eaton was first elected in the 2013 election and subsequently reelected in 2015. Mr. Krapohl ran unopposed in the 2014 August primary and November 2014 general election.
