La Fiesta Mexicana was opened in 1990 by Michelle Roman and Guillermo Aleman, who recently opened Taqueria La Fiesta at Packard Road and Carpenter. Roman is listed as the owner of the building, which also houses Cross Street Books, and recently purchased 531, next door, which houses Aruba Tanning and Spa.
