Republic Bank is a former bank in Ann Arbor, which was acquired by Flint based Citizens Bank to become Citizens Republic Bancorp in 2007. The Citizens Bank name remained.

Monday customers of Republic Bank were doing business with either Citizens Bank or Franklin Bank. It's been a year in the making. In June, Citizens Bank announced plans to merge with Ann Arbor-based Republic Bank. Monday that merger was made final. And this means dozens of jobs on the way to Flint.
