Boise's history has been marked by the contributions of my many different ethnicities. Boise's Chinese-Americans were some of the most instrumental, yet least acknowledged residents whose presence represented a substantial amount of Boise's early population. The Chinese of Boise helped to build the infrastructure of our city and although their numbers have decreased in recent years, they remain an integral part of the area and its history.
