Purpose

The BeckRidge Chorale was founded in 1973 as the Plymouth Community Chorus. Since 1978 the organization has grown from 26 singers to nearly 120 dedicated members, changing its name in 2006 to the BeckRidge Chorale in order to recognize the organization's regional outreach. Today, the BeckRidge Chorale consists of two ensembles, The BeckRidge Chorale and Village Voices. The BeckRidge Choral is an adult choral ensemble with members drawn from the southeastern lower Michigan. Village Voices is a select ensemble of 20 members drawn from the BeckRidge Chorale. Each group presents two main concerts a year. An award-winning chorale, we have perfomed at prestigious festivals, with local symphonies, and by, invitation, at Washington's National Cathedral. Our community service concerts benefit local and national causes.
