Barnes & Noble is a 24,660 square foot bookstore located in South Chico.
The Barnes & Noble Cafe offers Starbucks drinks, but it is not an officially licensed Starbucks. The cafe does not accept Starbucks cards, but it does take Barnes and Noble gift cards as it is owned and operated by Barnes and Noble. The cafe offers a full range of Starbucks drinks but there are slight differences. For example, the hot chocolate is made with Godiva powder and half and half unlike Starbucks.
The cafe offers food from The Cheesecake Factory. The menu features sandwiches that they heat up on a small grill as well as stuffed pretzels. They feature a variety of cheesecakes and desserts such as red velvet cake, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate and vanilla cupcakes.
On July 28, 2009, Barnes & Noble announced that all of their stores now provide free WiFi through AT&T.
