The Almond Orchard is a small shopping center in North Chico, located across Pillsbury Road from the North Valley Plaza. It too is a remnant from the time before South Chico became the shopping haven that it now is. There are several shops that have called the Almond Orchard home for decades such as The Creative Apple and Pet Works. In addition, it is home to Round Table Pizza, Gen Kai and more. It is also home to the Chico Cabaret, one of Chico's sources to catch a live performance. Well known by locals, this shopping center could be easy to overlook by newcomers to the area.
