Alive and Kicking was a local periodical focused on the music scene of the area. It was published out of Sacramento by local music promoter, Jerry Perry, and ran from August 1991 to September 2008. Alive and Kicking Presents still holds shows every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Old Ironsides.
