Garrod Drive branches off from La Rue Road and provides access to the southern portion of the vet med section of campus. Unitrans bus maintenance and parking is off to the east side of the road. After traviling south around the vet med area, it crosses Highway 113 into west campus. In the early 2000s the homecoming bonfire was held in the field to the west of the road.
