2008-07-01 14:15:58   I added this entry as I received his services this week. He and his associate are friendly and they did a great job on the rental that I am leaving after 3 years which received heavy foot traffic, and 2 children. The pet odor wasn't cleaned before the previous tenant left, but now my carpet looks and smells better than when I rented the place. Highly recommended with a good price. Their motto also includes "Dry in one hour." Had a good chat with the owner who grew up in Davis but only recently took over this market. He was recommended to me by another friend who gave me great reviews. —JohnLin

2009-09-17 07:17:26   Heaven's Best did a great job cleaning our carpet. They cleaned up some difficult stains and the overall carpet looks great. The owner and service person were very friendly, they were out to our house within two days of my call, and the price was very reasonable. I was referred to them by a Davis home remodel company and would definitely recommend them to others. —davisdebbie

2009-11-14 17:51:33   These guys are the best! They gave us a great in-home estimate, and that was the cost. They were precisely on-time. They did the whole house in about 3 hours, and everything dried in a couple more. Clean, soft carpets. No bad smells — just a little citrus that dissipated quickly. Others cost a lot more. Chris' Chem Dry wanted to charge $50 for an in-home estimate, and the phone estimate was double the cost of Heaven's Best. I couldn't be happier. —Blooom

2011-05-22 22:28:38   I watched the youtube link. FREEBIRD ROCKS!!! And if its the middle of the day, use some human social skills and go over there and ask the guy to turn it down. And dont forget to use the magic word, "Please." You could have used your energy to get what you wanted and confronted another human being, instead of using your time, energy and resentment to post a video of some carpet cleaner listening to music while he works. 2011-06-15 12:33:10   Had our carpets cleaned by Troy a couple of weeks ago and he did a fantastic job. Was at the house on time, and the carpets were truly dry in one hour. He was very reasonable in price, and we'll definitely have him come back to do it again. —meaghan

2012-09-18 10:50:55   I had our carpets cleaned by Heaven's Best (the actual cleaning was done by an employee of Troy) recently. It took me a few calls to be able to schedule, as the calls went to Troy's cell phone and he didn't have access to his calendar, and Troy didn't return one of my calls, but when we were able to go over scheduling he made an appointment for sooner than other places I called and at about the same price. On the day of cleaning, there seemed to be some confusion about the time, because the cleaner called me an hour early to say he'd be an hour late (i.e. he would arrive at the time I thought was scheduled). He then arrived even later than that, and took longer to do the cleaning than scheduled. However, as far as I can tell he did a thorough job. He said up front that he'd be unlikely to be able to get the discolorations from pet urine, ink, etc. out of the carpet, but that he would get the odors out. It's hard to tell now, as the smell of the cleaner is still lingering a bit, but as far as I can tell the odors are indeed improved or maybe even gone.

So overall, I think this local franchise seems a little poor at organization, but seems to do a good job at a reasonable price. —harvardslacker

2012-11-19 23:04:13   Overall, I am not happy with my experience. Troy was rude and unprofessional. He was extremely loud while he cleaned my carpets. First I asked him to keep it down, and then my neighbor came over to ask him to be quiet. After all that he charged me more than he had initially told me, because apparently I had some "difficult stains." I do not recommended getting your carpets cleaned by this company. —JohnF

Luckily, my mom suggested we try having Troy clean them first, and I can't even tell you how great they look! Troy was prompt, professional, and spent several hours working on our carpets. 2013-09-23 17:36:28   A 3' x 3' dark carpet stain was caused by accidentally dumping a large quantity of dirty (maybe somewhat greasy) water on a cream colored hallway carpet that led to all bedrooms. This water was from cleaning out an old HVAC heater of all of its engine's dirt, water and grease accumulated over many years. The stain was very prominent. Very ugly. Across a couple of days, I tried to remove this large spot by using a heavy duty Bissel carpet cleaner several times. I could not get the spot out. My wife was sure, and I was about to be sure, that we'd have to replace the whole carpet. Expensive. Someone told me we should first try "Troy" who operates the Heaven's Best Carpet Cleaning. We did. His crew got out the entire stain. Four days later, the stain had still not reappeared. And... their prices are quite competitive; for this job only $85. Best, they did what seemed like an impossible job. More. They responded to our need within 48 hours. —DavidMurphy

2013-10-24 21:47:27   Troy Martin, WOW. I am a college student. I moved out of the house that I rented for two and a half years at the end of this Summer. Troy removed every kind of stain that we had. We had cats for a year, several parties, a large ink stain in the middle of our living room, etc. After leaving him alone for two hours, the place was spotless. 2017-01-26 14:47:22   Heaven's Best did a great job on our apartment in Davis. We have two large dogs, and our carpet was pretty filthy. After the clean, it looks just about brand new! Troy also deodorized the room heavily, giving our carpet a much fresher, nicer scent. Highly recommended! —ScottMeehleib
