The ASUCD Special Committee for Elections and the Freedom of Speech (SCEFS), pronounced "seths", was passed by the ASUCD Senate on April 12, 2007 after it was invented by the Internal Affairs Commission on April 9, 2007. The special committee is charged with reforming the election codes in light of ASUCD Court Case #41. They are expected to reach a conclusion by the end of the spring quarter of 2007.
