Silver Cinemas, home of the best popcorn in Denton County, is also known as "The Movie Theater In The Mall", and is located in the Golden Triangle Mall. This theater shows second run movies, which is great if you don't pay attention to when things are released to big theaters and always miss out, or if you like to see a movie on opening night and then 3 more times during its second run, or if you're a poor college student and don't want to pay $7 to $9 for a movie, or if you like popcorn. Tickets are $2 for all ages and $1.50 on Tuesdays. Children ages 2 and under are free. The snacks are only a little cheaper than the other theaters in Denton; however, the store has notably better popcorn and service than both the Rave and the Cinemark.
