Donald Hall

SCHENECTADY Donald Hall, 73, of Earl Ave., and formerly of Saranac Lake, died Saturday in Ellis Hospital after a long illness.

He was born in Moira and lived in Saranac Lake before moving to Schenectady in 1978. He was a graduate of Albany Business College.

He co-owned and operated with his family, the Berkeley Deli in Saranac Lake. Previously, he owned and published the Nevada Journal in Iowa. Most recently he was an accountant until his retirement in 1991.

Mr. Hall was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife Beatrice (Boynton) Hall; three daughters, Barbara J. Hall of Schenectady, Valeria A. Hall of Concord, N.H., and Deborah D. Hatfield of North Attleboro, Mass.; and one grandson.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 17, at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
