In this class we learned a lot about the opioid crisis. However, opioids aren’t the problem in Arizona. I chose Phoenix as a location because of the methamphetamine problem. Nearly 5,000 prisoners in Arizona jails were convicted of crimes related to methamphetamine. I would argue that meth in Arizona is a cause of biological pain. In Phoenix, the percent of the population that has used meth is 15 percent.
