The Mississauga Garden Council is a community group that is a volunteer based charity that delivers programs and services in nature education, stewardship, gardening and volunteerism to children, adults, families and seniors at Riverwood Park

Founded in 1985, MGC is a volunteer and member-based charity whose mission is to support the City of Mississauga in the growth and development of Riverwood as a public garden, park and nature preserve and to promote the enjoyment and enrich the experience for visitors and citizens of Mississauga and surrounding areas.

The Riverwood Conservancy will be participating in Doors Open in 2011
